Speros President/CEO.  Susan Speros began her career in the telecommunications business in Dayton, Ohio in 1978.  She was the Customer Service Representative for a large interconnect telephone company.  She specialized in training the end users on the use of large PBX telephone systems.  Shortly after, she became a sales associate for the same company.  She excelled in sales in the Dayton and Cincinnati marketplace and was soon recruited by an Atlanta telecommunications company to run their branch office in Savannah.  She relocated to Savannah in March of 1982.  Speros started her own telecommunications company and incorporated Speros in the State of Georgia in 1984.  32 years.

 

Speros Vice President.  Heather Radtke started with Speros in 1990 after she graduated from Georgia Southern University.  She quickly moved through the ranks with Speros, first as the Customer Service Representative training the end users on the proper use of their new technology, then she moved into the installation department learning the best and most effective ways to install cable, telephones, surveillance and computer networks, and then into sales where she combines all of her years in the business to custom design solutions for each Speros client she serves.  20 years.

 

Speros General Manager.  Jeri Sasser started with Speros in 1990.  She was first hired to fullfill the position of accounting, receivables, payables and payroll.  With her expertise in accounting she quickly began to understand the equipment, supplies and parts required to implement the many projects Speros engineered.  She took the required technical and engineering courses provided by Toshiba and Adtran and now acts as the Company sales engineer to finalize each project we implement.  She is responsible for the day to day operation of Speros and other employees report to Jeri.  She has done just about every job in the daily operations at Speros and has a very thorough knowledge of what is expected from our clients.  20 years.

 

Speros Wireless World Manager.  Marsha Kopper started with Speros in 1995.  Prior to joining Speros, Marsha was the local service center dispatcher for Southern Bell.  Marsha had 19 years experience with the Maintenance Department procedures at Southern Bell.  She started with Speros to help in our Customer Service Department to train the end users on the proper use of their new technology.  She eventually became involved with our association with Nextel.  Speros was a business partner with Nextel and we offered the complete line of Nextel products.  When Sprint aquired Nextel we were offered the opportunity to be a full service retail and parts store for Sprint/Nextel.  Speros opened a seperate retail business located at 2410 Skidaway Road for the sales and service of Sprint/Nextel products.  Marsha is the manager of Speros Wireless World; she supervises a staff of 3 and is responsible for the daily operation.  32 years.

 

Speros Sales Expert.  Sandra Tribbett, 25 years.

 

Speros Project Coordinator.  Jean Eva has had a very diversified carreer in technology.  After obtaining her BA in Mass Communications, she joined Mountain Bell in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She worked in various departments at Mountain Bell; and had first hand experience of the divestiture of AT&T.  Her next job was working with a company that installed computer point of sale equipment into hotels; she traveled extensively from coast to coast.  She then accepted a position with the police department in Salt Lake City, Utah; while employed as the supervisor of the dispatchers she was responsible for designing the emergency phone system for the campus of the University of Utah that included a camera at each phone location.  Eventually, Jean relocated to Savannah, Georgia and worked for Alltel Communications as a Technical Service Representative; she was responsible for programming telephone systems and training the end users.  When Alltel closed their office she joined the Speros team.  She is currently the Project Implementation Manager and responsible for synchronizing the installations at Speros.  29 years. 

 

Speros Inventory Asset Manager.  Susie Summerville prior to joining Speros worked as the office manager and property rental specialist for Geriner Enterprises.  She also had been involved in the automotive repair business.  Her previous 18 years of experience provided her with many skill sets necessary to successfully migrate into the positions she has held at Speros over the last 12 years.  Currently, Susie is our accounts receivable billing clerk and is in charge of all the building, automotive and receivable assets at Speros.  She also handles the daily service and repair dispatches for our Wilmington, North Carolina location.  She is versed in technology parts and is responsible for the daily ordering and processing of the Speros inventory.  12 years.

 

Speros Global Connectivity.  Sue Martinez began her career in the telephone industry as a bilingual service representative with Southern Bell (later BellSouth) in Miami, Florida, but soon moved into the marketing department where she developed methods and procedures in emerging technology (SMARTRing, PRI Trunkside termination, BRI), she trained service consultants and handled large customers like Delta Airlines, United Parcel Service, Hewlett Packard and the Atlanta Public School System,  Her responsibilities included designing local redundant self healing networks with access to multiple long distance carriers, creating procedures for customer control of network options, writing special assembly requests for tariff variances allowing technology to be applied in unique ways for special customer applications, and preparing documentation for tariff approval at the state and federal level annually for corporate licensing.  Retired in 2000 from BellSouth, Sue traveled abroad for 3 years and operated her own catering business before returning to her first love about 4 years ago.  She is responsible for managing the network carrier orders for dialtone/long distance/internet/point to point circuits which provide the heartbeat of today's technology.  31 years.

 

Speros Bookkeeper.  Marge Imbertson began her career working for Pacific Telephone in Los Angeles, CA.  While at Pacific Telephone she was a Marketing Representative and a specialized instructor in service order writing techniques.  Marge continued her education in accounting at Palm Beach Community College and has spent the past 30 years in the field of bookkeeping and office administration.  Marge is responsible for Speros human resourses issues, employee insurance, daily bookkeeping including payables, taxes and payroll.  Her attention to quality work is just one of her many assets.  Marge has been a member of the Speros team for seven years.  7 years.

 

Speros Operations Manager.  Dwain Smith, had worked in management for several years in the automotive business before making a career change into technology.  In 2005, Dwain enrolled in the Convergent Telecommunications Program at East Central Technical College in Fitzgerald, Georgia.  During his time at East Central he became involved in the SkillsUSA program.  In 2006, he competed in the SkillsUSA National Conference and placed 1st in the telecommunications competition.  Dwain joined the Speros team after graduating from East Central Technical College in March of 2007.  Dwain has quickly grown to be a valuable asset to the Speros technology team and was recently promoted to the position of Operations Manager.  5 years.

 

Speros Wireless World Service and Sales.  Kevin Phillips, 12 years.

 

Senior Telephony Engineer.  Jay Hansbrough is the only certifed ITT 501 installer in the City of Savannah and maybe even the State of Georgia.  Jay majored in telecommunications at San Mateo College, shortly after college he started installing and designing custom control circuit boards and high end residential alarm systems he did this for several years before he was recruited by Northern Telecom in 1977.  Jay relocated to Washington DC and began his long career in telecommunications business installing Key and PBX telephone systems.  Jay secured a position with Tel-Plus Siemens as a Project Manager and Systems Engineer for the next 8 years in Canton, Ohio.  Jay started his own business JAH Electronics in Canton,Ohio and successfully repaired and refurbished several different lines of telecommunications equipment for over 11 years.  Continuing in the telecommunications business he started work for CCI/Warwick in Canton, Ohio has their Special Project Engineer for Data and Voice for the next 13 years before accepting his current position at Speros as our Senior Telephony Engineer.  Jay is manufacturer certified on over 30 different voice and data systems, he is a Certifed Telephony Professional and has his A+ certification.  32 years.

 

Speros Network Infrastructure Telephony, Computer and Surveillance.  Mike Hilliard spent 12 years of service to our country in the United States Air Force.  While in the Air Force he was trained in a diverse and challenging career as a Healthcare Service Specialist this included the following specialities, 7th Level Medical Management, A+ Certification, MS Office Trainer, Emergency Response Systems Advisor, Systems Helpdesk Supervisor, Webmaster, Systems Network Engineering, CPR and a Self-Aid and Buddy Care Instructor.  His Air Force experience earned him 41 credit hours towards his BBA degree.  After his successful career in the Air Force he became a Professional Access Control Technician as well as a professional locksmith.  Soon he was recruited by a Biometrics Company to be their Access Control Specialists in sales engineering.  He continued in the Access Control, Audio Visual business with specialization and certification in Surveillance systems.  Mike joined the Speros team in 2007 and he is a Voice, Data, Surveillance and Access Control Technician.  7 years.

 

Senior Surveillance Engineer.  Anders Jensen, 15 years.

Speros Senior Telephony Technician.  Marty Clagg started his career in the telecommunications business in 1994.  Similar to most seasoned telephone system professionals he started in the field as a cable puller.  This opportunity taught him all of the necessary inside and outside plant techniques required in our industry.  He is certified in the installation  of video and fiber optic cable as well.  Marty is manufacturer certified on Toshiba DK, CTX, CIX and Toshiba Stratagy Voice Mail Systems, a certified ShoreTel IP Installer, ESI system installer, and Panasonic Digital Business Systems.  Marty's extensive telephony knowledge is very keen and his abilities have earned him the title and reputation as a Senior Telephony Technician.  16 years.

 

Speros Network Infrastructure Telephony, Computer and Surveillance.  Craig Lanier, 32 years.

 

Speros IT Technician.  Janson McCreery's passion is computers.  Janson began his computer career at the bottom and has quickly advanced to the top.  He received a Computer Information Science degree at Ogeechee Technical College and has never looked back.  Janson is a Microsoft Certied Professional (MCP) and has his A+ certification.  He specializes in computer virtualization, building and installing servers, firewall configurations, and wireless networks.  He is a perfectionist at heart and excels in computer network diagnostics, maintenance and troubleshooting.  10 years.
